A homeopathy veterinarian, after a thorough clinical examination of the patient will discover and record everything visible. Subsequently, a full history of the animal’s pathology, behaviour and habits will be noted by the veterinarian.
Using the information regarding the way in which the patient is suffering, the veterinarian will decide on the medication to be prescribed. The medication aims to heal the animal as a whole and not to relieve just some of the symptoms.
In order to expound on the previous example, the two asthmatic cat patients who suffer in their own unique way, need different medication. The reason being one of them is aggravated by humidity while the other is aggravated by warm weather.
Also, most probably the first needs to be stroked and cuddled, while the second one prefers to be alone. These two animals will receive different medication in homeopathy, while, in Western medicine they would probably have the same treatment.

These when considered with the cause e.g. injury, epidemic, poisoning, spoiled food consumption etc, the homeopathic veterinarian will be able to select the correct medicine.
